Classical mid-summer night.

  Sunday night at the Bode Museum in Berlin, amongst so many people of different background, ethnicities, cultures and beliefs. Each person on Sunday that sat there around myself was as different and unique as a finger print. I can imagine how our differences which are probably vast and many could seperate us, this is natural after all people always have their individual or cultural set thinking which sets them a part from other Individuals or groups. 

   Yet, as I sat there thinking about all of this I also knew that all of these people came here at the Bode Museum (Should I say Sunday) to enjoy nice wine along with the sound of classical music in the open air of Berlin, Next to a river which was populated by other folk. Some a worse for wear due to much alcohol, others with family on a evening stroll , or be it tourists. It seemed on Sunday most people had come out to Breathe in the Night life, culture of Berlin, in and around Oranienburger Tor. What a magical feeling to experience this, to be swept away by the music and encapsulated in the atmosphere where children smiled and lovers held unto one another as the Pianist created art threw sound. It felt, old fashion, it felt so familiar to me somehow. The old Bode Museum itself stood proud and tall above the pianist and us all so it was natural, quite amazing even to look up in admiration of this wonderful structure as the sounds of the piano swam around us all with pianists efortless but most impressive skill. 

    Now unto the outfit itself! Be is fashion or music, film or art, my admiration is always placed in the classics and such is my taste. Maybe, it has always been like this even before I realized my own “tastes” in life. The main reason (and to my joy) for the outfit tonight was to fit to the ellegant and classic style of the night, namely the music and architecture of the Bode Museum. 

   The inspirations of this outfit is Coco 1910-20s style , as she said the over knee skirt style  always shows a sense of elegance and self restraint in women not giving in to the sway of sexualized over saturation of women which can at many times and often are portrayed as merely objects of a male sexual lust. Instead, this style rather shows the form of a woman and sexuality without compromising the integrity and dignity of a woman.      

   I wonder, who is your favorite composer? Or even a song you might have heard from the classic ganre which moved you? I know for me Brahms and for others it is Richard Wagner Siegfried funeral march which is able to get to the core of you.
