Has been raining non-stop for a few weeks, it seems like a pretty gloomy summer this year. Once, I ran back home from the thunder storm 2 weeks ago, a big package arrived at my house. My god it is Nancy’ puppet that was made by my friend Dainelle without telling me! It was totally a big surprise! How lovely! She made me a day from that terrible weather!
Dainelle is a very talented art student and craft designer who is based in Scotland currently. Her creativity and amazing skill gives her work impressive imagination and touching details. It was so incredible to be her inspiration. The body of doll is made of polymer clay. My favorite detail from the doll is those flower pattern, Dainelle collected real dry flowers to paste them on the model!
The standard of great work never depends on your skill only, but also depends on how much you love your art. Once we think the world in a positive way, we could many touching works by our hands.
It is such a lucky thing to have a puppet which is made after me, and a wonderfully welcome surprise.
