The New Traditions

Today is the first day of TheChinese Lunar year.  Many of my friends got very confused and asked me: Is it the Goat year or the Sheep year? Back to Ancient time people used to build the “Goat” statue for this zodiac animal, traditionally should be “Goat”. But modern society modified this image slowly…perhaps because of  consumer reasons, or maybe people started to forget all these traditions.  The younger Generation thinks Sheep look so much cuter than goats anyway.
Many cultures have their own ways to express the history, identity and flavor if you want to call it this. It is something which brings a society together and can be the glue which bonds people who might not ordinarily get along or be abe to co exist, yet with things such as traditions the Macro society or Micro one is united for a brief moment. Many traditions are ones which remind people that we are one and the same or where your origin lies.
