Wandering and alienation are always the theme of Wim wonders’ movie, it is aimless and endless, lonely but poetic. “Wings of desire” (1987) is his the most romantic story , an angel falls in love with a mortal circus beauty star, he could listen to her inmost voice, but she couldn’t see him. So he wish to become a human to hold his love… showed a wound，rebirth，poetic Berlin, the city which is full of hope. As everyone knows, it is the original version of hollywood movie”City of Angels”(1998).
I still remember when heroine open her eyes, her angelic expression touched me a lot. This outfit just want to memorize this character, a pretty, lonely circus beauty heroine, although I couldn’t take pictures in the circus, ha.
