The third hand.

As similar as “Slow life”,”Slow fashion” is the way to show our respects of life, people and environment. Many designers would love to use antique /second hand clothes to recreate, such as Maison Martin Margiela haute couture, recreated artisanal collections wh-ich was based on the antique collections. I remembered once my boyfriend said to me,” I like traditional handmade things or antique much more, because each item really takes so much time and passion to make, each item has its own unique story behind it. “Has covered my friend Momo’s projects before, for this year she created ” The third hand” as her new collections theme. As she said, the new designs are modified and recreated from the old things, second hand things could be reborn by the third hand. She also hopes there will be more and more people join into the “Slow fashion” concept. And I can’t agree more.
Usually artists’ inspirations come from their experiences or memories.  “Childish”and “Ethnic” is the mark of Momo’s designs,  her happy childhood memories influenced her designs a lot.   Face towards to the field, orientated to the mountain, animals are her friends. She created a familiar figure for the new collection: a idyllic, exotic free girl who lives surround by nature.
What are the real precious things in our life? Perhaps time and our experiences. What are the real luxury things? Perhaps doing the things we love or controlling time. So let’s slow down first, take care every details from this nature.
