Studio in a Bag.

Many of my readers thought I am still a student, but actually I have been working as professional artist for 3 years. Maybe the best way to explain what I do is to give my background, which is as a traditional artist and crossover designer. Before and I still do use mixed media from water color, oils, simple 2D to 9B pencils for my sketch work and design. And I have studied art for a long time now, learning as I still continue to learn even in the present day. Then after time my interests were aimed also to fashion and other types of illustration and art. I am inspired by both the classics , post modern and modern arts and artists and find also the digital medium one of the best as it gives me a lot of freedom and scope.Im always learning art and design in every way and of course this involves fashion so having a good bag that is a suitable size for me, on that lets me carry all of my equipment from iPad, Drawing Pads and a bunch of inks or pencils ,and references books it is important to have something that can look very stylish as a bag, but also have my art and design contents within it. I often take this Coach duffle bag to a coffee shop, lay it next to the table and take out my art equipment, and because the colorful bag looks so nice I don’t want to put it underneath the table!

Personally however, my career as a cross over artist is only starting and it feels amazing to have so much ahead of me, and of course with the help of my bag to help me carry all of my equipment. We all needs to have a well designed and stylish bag for our career and daily life.

You’re so inspirational!! I love the story about your bag, and it’s so true. We need fashion that will work with who we are.

I wanted to be an illustrator so bad when I was younger…but seeing such inspired work like yours makes me realize that some people just have that certain something…call it talent or vision or what ever. The rest of us are just destined to be ordinary 😛

You always look so lovely, Miss Nancy, especially with that short hair of yours. I enjoy your wide range of style. I have been wondering about the bead bracelets you always wear. What is the story behind them?
