Maxi Cheongsam and long coat was the most popular style in Shanghai during 1940s. At that very period the design of women’s wear became much simpler and more practical, the well tailored cheongsam dress was loose but fits each woman’s shape perfectly . Curly hair, high heels, one piece with a outwear almost like lady’s basic standard. Back then everyone tried to look modern and trendy, but now many of us start to miss the past.
