Movable Poems on the Body

Dido Liu’s” Deepmoss” always carries a kind of vague, emotional feelings. The information she presents always could touch me as if we are really close friends, although I haven’t met her in person. That was also the reason I choose DeepMoss designs for my art lectures last month. In the beginning I saw Dido ‘s DeepMoss SS14 designs this summer, the first was in my mind was”poetic”, then was ” Zen”. All the threads drop down randomly and vertically from those flower embroideries, just like the color stream falling off. Her team not only create the clothes pieces, but also the moveable poems and arts that you could take on your body. For me, these works have the real spirited of oriental philosophy: The great vitality under the peaceful shell.
